I am 44 and a working musician (drums/ vocals). I have been gigging consistently since the age of 18, and until I got married and had my son, it was my only source of income and a decent living. I have since been working at least one day job (Licensed Electrician/ certified Plans Examiner), and sometimes 2 -3 regular bands (anywhere from 2-6 nights a week).

I have performed/ recorded various types of music: TV Commercials (US and Latin Markets); Nu Metal; Country; Blues; Pop; Latin Jazz; Standard Jazz; mostly other peoples music (sometimes I have collaborated on arrangement/ song structure, etc.); but always my personality, my voice. I have been told my playing is Solid, Heavy, Greasy, and Grooving. One bass player liked my backbeat so much, he would lay on his back under my snare drum during rehearsal! Hah! I am grateful to have played with some VERY talented musicians, and to still count them among my friends and supporters.
