I started playing in my school band in 6th grade when I was 11. I was immediately drawn to drums and began as a percussionist. By 7th Grade I was 1st chair for Percussion of our 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes, and was drumming in Jazz Band. I soon joined the Youth Worship team at my Church, The Rock Church Monroe. I have been drumming now for 7 years now and am never learning enough. After Middle School band i stopped doing school band and reading music, and am now wanting to broaden my skills and grow in my drumming even more than i have been my playing by ear.
