thanks! I'm glad you like the vids! I've been playing for 10 years, although the first couple years a didn't really take is seriously since I was experimenting with different instruments. I'm for the most part "self taught" but I have taken a few lessons here and there and I attended a summer performance program at berklee college of music. So hows about yourself? do you have any vids up?

Jan 23, 2010 - 01:19 PMI have really been cracking down on the basics since signing up with Mike. There is a marked improvement in my rudiments as that is my focus when I'm sitting behind the kit. The challenge was a bit tough for me at first because the 'splash-toe-toe' technique is totally new to me. Glad to see I was able to motivate somebody! So many of Mike students have made me want to strive to do better. Hope to see more of your playing soon! Tino.
