Great News!
Mar 09, 2010 - 03:41 PMHey Alastair, I thought I would drop a line and say a big congrats to you getting a 4 year course at Drum tech, that is awesome I'm so pleased for you :) I was also wondering if you could help me. I've been looking into the courses recently and really like the look of some of them. I don't feel I am good enough as a drummer yet to pass the assessments having only been playing on and off for the past year and a half looking to seriously take my drumming to the next level(I would still class myself as a beginner). Are there any tips or things that I should know/do before attempting to enrol or make contact. Congrats again :) Mike (UK)

Jan 09, 2010 - 10:59 AMI did not expect you to respond that quick! It looks like you know a lot about the 4000. I've heard a ton of good things about it but it's good to get a trusted opinion. The price is unbeatable too. I wasn't sure if I should save up for a double-chain pedal like the 5000 but it sounds like the 4000 holds up just fine. Thanks for getting back to me so fast. Matt

Jan 09, 2010 - 09:48 AMHey Al, how do you like the 4000 pedal? I've been thinking about getting one and I thought I should ask someone who actually owns it. Anyways, I love your videos. You could kick my butt left-handed and right! I hope I can become half as good as you. Matt

What?!
Dec 13, 2009 - 10:10 AMAs I was doing my welcome wagon duties this morning, I noticed a comment by you on someone's profile stating that you've only been playing 5 years. You're kidding right? I generally never say the word 'dude' as I'm kind of a geezer and my generation says 'man' as an exclamation. I'm going to make an exception in this case. Dude... there, I said it. How the hell do you get that level of play in 5 years? (and then switch from L to R) It is boggling my feeble mind.

Oct 22, 2009 - 02:04 PMhey man, thank you for your comments.. i never told you that your videos really rock, and you're the reason i made my practice-pad-drums in the first place, after that i realised how much i miss the drums so i actualy finaly found the time, and the place to make my place for drumming :). So really thank you a lot for your lesson, i know i'm a bit sloppy at it, but i'll show you in a week what i will make of it :). Once again, really man, thank you, and keep on posting videos :)!

Hey Al, thanks for the comment. I use a Roland TD-6 module for my drum set. I wish I could afford one of Roland's nicer modules because right now all of my drums max out the inputs and I have no room to expand.
